Afghanistan, U.S. helicopter crash helicopter shot down about 17 soldiers
A U.S. CH-47 Chinook helicopter crashed during operations in central Afghanistan. He reports the American command.
In a statement the U.S. military there is no mention of casualties. According to a source quoted by the AFP, U.S., all five people on board have died. The helicopter crashed southwest of the Dai Chopan district, Uruzgan province, for unknown reasons.
"The American ground forces - the statement - are in place and are ongoing relief operations." It was the fourth American helicopter crashed since the beginning of the year. On July 28, an American helicopter had crashed into the same type without affecting the 31 people aboard. On June 28, another helicopter was shot down by a rocket and the 16 occupants, all Americans were dead . Also on April 6 in Ghazni province, Another CH-47 had crashed, killing its 18 occupants (15 military and three civilians, all Americans).
